Operations

SWITCHES

Toggle Switch: The toggle switch is used to turn the flashlight on/off, select the lighting source and adjust brightness.

Electronic Switch: The electronic switch is used for mode selection and additional lighting functions.

ON/OFF

With the flashlight switched off, rotate the toggle switch clockwise to turn the flashlight on.

Rotate the toggle switch counterclockwise to turn the flashlight off.

MODE SWITCHING

The LR50R V2.0 features separate lighting sources and lighting modes, including Spotlight, Floodlight, Spotlight + Floodlight, Red Light and UV Light.

Single click the electronic switch to cycle through the available lighting modes.

OUTPUT SELECTION

In the selected lighting mode, rotate the toggle switch to adjust the brightness.

The LR50R V2.0 features stepless brightness adjustment, allowing the output to be smoothly increased or decreased according to the lighting requirements.

The Spotlight and Floodlight each provide a maximum output of 9000 lumens, while combined Spotlight + Floodlight operation provides a maximum output of 18,000 lumens.

LOCKOUT FUNCTION

Lock: With the flashlight switched off, rotate the toggle switch to the locked position to prevent accidental activation.

Unlock: Rotate the toggle switch clockwise to unlock the flashlight and activate the selected lighting mode.

The flashlight can also be prevented from accidental activation by unscrewing the light body approximately half a turn.

INSTANT HIGH OUTPUT

The LR50R V2.0 provides an extremely high maximum output of 18,000 lumens when Spotlight and Floodlight are used together.

The OLED display provides real-time information about the selected lighting mode, lumen value, remaining battery level and runtime.

RED LIGHT

The dedicated Red Light provides a maximum output of 210 lumens and is suitable for nighttime illumination while helping reduce glare.

The Red Flash function can be used for warning, distress signalling and sending signals.

UV LIGHT

The LR50R V2.0 features a 365 nm UV light with 10 W optical power, providing a high-detectability UV inspection system suitable for large-area and long-distance inspection applications.

Warning: Avoid direct exposure of the UV light to the eyes or skin.

INTELLIGENT MEMORY CIRCUIT

The LR50R V2.0 uses an electronic control system designed for convenient operation between its various lighting sources and modes.

The OLED display provides real-time information about the selected output, lighting mode, remaining battery level and runtime.

BATTERY SPECIFICATIONS

The LR50R V2.0 is designed to use the included 32,000mAh rechargeable battery stick. Fenix specifies a maximum runtime of up to 195 hours.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The LR50R V2.0 uses a dedicated rechargeable battery stick. Do not attempt to substitute individual 18650 or 21700 batteries for the battery stick unless specifically approved by Fenix.

CHARGING

1. Switch off the flashlight.
2. Open the charging-port cover.
3. Connect a USB Type-C charging cable to the appropriate USB Type-C charging port.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible power adapter.
5. The OLED display and charging indicators will show the charging status.
6. When charging is complete, disconnect the charging cable.
7. Close the port cover securely to maintain the flashlight’s dustproof and waterproof protection.

The LR50R V2.0 features two USB Type-C ports and supports up to 18W/45W fast charging. Using both Type-C ports at full power, charging from nearly depleted to fully charged takes approximately 3 hours.

Note: The two USB Type-C ports do not feature inner waterproof treatment. Ensure the ports are dry before charging.

POWER BANK FUNCTION

The LR50R V2.0 can be used as a power bank to charge compatible electronic devices.

1. Switch off the flashlight.
2. Connect the electronic device to the appropriate USB Type-C port using a suitable charging cable.
3. The flashlight will begin supplying power to the connected device.
4. The OLED display will indicate the battery status during discharge.

BATTERY LEVEL INDICATION

The OLED smart display provides real-time battery information, including the remaining battery percentage and estimated runtime.

This allows the user to monitor the battery level without relying solely on indicator lights.

INTELLIGENT BRIGHTNESS DOWNSHIFT

The LR50R V2.0 features an intelligent brightness downshift function designed to prevent excessive heat when illuminating objects at close range.

When the function detects that an object is too close to the flashlight, the output will automatically reduce to help prevent overheating or damage to the illuminated object.

The intelligent brightness downshift function can be turned on or off.

INTELLIGENT PROTECTION

The flashlight incorporates intelligent thermal protection to regulate output during extended operation at high brightness levels.

When the flashlight reaches approximately 55°C, it will automatically step down the output to reduce temperature. When the temperature decreases, higher output levels can become available again.

LOW-VOLTAGE WARNING

When the battery voltage drops below the preset level, the flashlight will automatically reduce its brightness to conserve battery power.

The output will continue to downshift as the battery voltage decreases until the lowest available brightness level is reached.

USAGE AND MAINTENANCE

• Disassembling the sealed head can cause damage to the flashlight and will void the warranty.
• Use only the recommended Fenix 32,000mAh rechargeable battery stick.
• If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, store it appropriately and recharge the battery every four months to maintain optimal battery performance.
• Lock the flashlight or otherwise prevent activation during storage or transportation.
• Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the O-ring with an approved spare.
• Periodically clean the battery and electrical contacts. Dirty contacts may cause the flashlight to flicker, operate intermittently or fail to illuminate.
• If the flashlight does not operate correctly, check the battery level and ensure the flashlight body and head are fully tightened.
• Clean dirty contact points with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol.

WARNING

1. This flashlight is a high-intensity lighting device capable of causing eye damage. Avoid shining the flashlight directly into anyone’s eyes.
2. The flashlight can accumulate significant heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. Take care when handling the flashlight to avoid burns.
3. The 365 nm UV light can be hazardous to the eyes and skin. Avoid direct exposure and use the UV light responsibly.
4. Do not look directly into the UV light source.
5. Ensure the USB Type-C ports are dry before charging or using the power-bank function.
6. Lock the flashlight or otherwise prevent accidental activation during storage and transportation.
